Living in a Buddha-full World
Living in a Buddha-full World
BuddhaWEST began because of an absence of a place to share my thoughts and interest as my family and I walk down the Buddhist path.
This left a void in my practice as there was no one to share my journey with or to learn about theirs.
I believe that energy is neither created nor destroyed, simply transferred. A law of the universe. My educational studied were in Chemical Engineering and it has played a profound impact in how Buddhism is practiced in my life. My judge is Karma and my jury is myself. We should leave people, places, and things better than we found them. Meditation is how we become skilled in the art of being still and one with all things.
Life is magical if we are paying attention. Suffering is inevitable. Life is about what we do while suffering. Don't busy yourself being so preoccupied with the distractions that you miss the true beauty and creativity of life. Lasting contentment is the breath between the chaos that we use to fill our time. It is that breath that meditation allows us to find, settle into, and appreciate it's clarity.
