I have one fatal flaw as an artist, I have yet to be able to part with any of my originals, but as a good Buddhist, I am working on letting go of my attachments.

Just a fun challenge.

I usually have a detailed piece of work moving while I work concurrently on other inspirations. I set out to create a modern version of the Buddhist Samsara. There are so many layers and the planning and level of detail are skill stretching. Not quite done, but almost!

A beautiful sky during one of my morning walks as the sun was coming up. Was so moved by the beauty that I had to paint it.
"Loel, why do you take pictures and create?", I asked.
"Because I see what could be.", Loel replied.

"Lola, why do you paint?", I asked.
"To paint what I feel and show others the amazing things I see in my imagination.", Lola replied.
